Applications are invited for a three years postdoctoral fellow position in
Mathematics at the University of Oslo, Norway.
The successful candidate will work at the Section for Mathematics at the
Department of Mathematics.
The research areas covered by the Section for Mathematics comprise the
strategic areas of geometry/topology, partial differential equations and
stochastic analysis, and also the areas of algebra/algebraic geometry,
several complex variables and mathematical logic.
We seek candidates whose research interests enhance and complement
the existing strengths of the Section for Mathematics.

Advances in Computational Mechanics (ACM 2013) — A Conference Celebrating the 70th Birthday of Thomas J.R. Hughes will be held on February 24-27, 2013, at Omni San Diego Hotel, in San Diego, California. The 17th International Conference on Finite Elements in Flow Problems (FEF 2013) will be a special track within the birthday celebration conference.
